North American Certified Trading Customer Services
Special Reports: Between two and five times each year, NACT publishes special reports and bulletins at
no charge. We publish these special reports to inform our customers on updated recommendations, pitfalls to avoid and
unusual market circumstances.
Picks of the month: Each month we highlight several coins in The Rare Coin Market Edge with a
fundamental reason to rise in value. As in all cases, of course, we can't guarantee profits. Please take note
of the coins with the heavy blue lines around them; they are our special picks.
Financing: Some of our clients prefer to pay for their coin purchases over an extended period of
time. At NACT we offer complete flexibility and can design a financing plan that fits your needs. NACT can finance
coins from $5,000 to $5,000,000.
Website: Our inventory is updated weekly with images added daily. If you do not see the coin you
desire on our site, please contact us by phone at (800) 359-4255 or via e-mail at info@nactcoin.com
and we will add it to our "want list" program. When we find the coin, you will be contacted by one of our representatives.
Collection Portfolio Program (CPP): The CPP program works like a bank account to build your rare coin
collection. You choose how much to set aside on a monthly basis, pick the type of coins and grades your prefer, and we
do the rest.
Customer input: We are always looking for ways to improve our company and The Rare Coin Market Edge,
and we want your help. Tell us what you like, dislike, and want to see more of, less of, etc. in our publications and
website. We want to make The Rare Coin Market Edge the most useful newsletter in the rare coin business. We are
serious about what you think and appreciate your feedback. Call us or visit our website at www.NACTcoin.com.
Our Philosophy: We are looking to supply good solid coins at fair prices and to win your repeat business. We believe that
by giving our customers the most for their money, the business growth will take care of itself.
Important information about the two major grading services: NACT buys and sells coins authenticated and graded by both of
the major third party grading services: PCGS and NGC. The value of a certified coin is a function of the grading service,
the grade of the coin and the unique characteristics of the coin itself. It is important to note that rare coin values
can vary widely with regard to these factors.
For a fee, the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) examines, authenticates, grades and encapsulates each submitted
coin in a special sonically sealed holder. Over 700 authorized PCGS dealers bid for PCGS coins on a sight-unseen and
sight-seen basis. Located in Southern California, PCGS guarantees that if a PCGS coin is determined to be incorrectly
graded, PCGS will pay the owner the difference in value between the original grade and newly assigned grade (for
details, please contact PCGS at 800-447-8848).
The Numismatic Guaranty Corporation, located in Florida, began grading coins in 1987. Like PCGS, NGC authenticates
grades and encapsulates each submitted coin in an inert plastic holder. NGC grading standards are similar to those
of PCGS and NGC offers a grading guarantee as well. NGC coins trade both sight-seen and sight-unseen similar to
PCGS coins. NGC can be reached at 800-NGC-Coin.
Important Disclosure Information: Rare coins can be risky and should be acquired on a
long-term basis. You should anticipate holding the coins you purchase for a minimum of five to eight years. There
can be no assurance that even after several years a market will exist where your coins may be sold at a
profit. Certification by PCGS or NGC does not guarantee protection against the normal risks associated
with potentially volatile markets. The degree of liquidity of PCGS and NGC certified coins will vary according
to general market conditions and the particular coin involved.
